Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Puppet Restoration and Display
Restoration and display of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles puppet created for the original 1990 action adventure comedy.
This little production-made latex Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles puppet came to us for some minor touch up and repair rather than an extensive restoration. The original TMNT production prop had some weakening of the latex and some areas had even cracked or were missing. We addressed any missing areas, patching over the gaps. We blended those patches sculpturally, making sure they flowed well with the original material . The areas that were restored were carefully paint to match the surrounding material, making for an invisible repair.
We also created a small manhole cover themed base to help support and display this unique piece of Hollywood memorabilia.
