Ice Cave Event Props for Party
Hand carved foam ice cave event props for a winter wonderland themed event.
Our client was looking for a unique way to bring the winter indoors and create a one of a kind foam photo op, so we created these hand carved ice cave event props, which could turn any party into a frozen wonderland!
We stared by sketching out concepts for these frozen props. We worked to keep in mind the needs for these foam sculptures such as the measurements of the event space and budgetary restrictions to ensure the perfect end result for the client. Once we finalized the designs we began sculpting out the foam props. Throughout the process we keep our clients informed with progress photos, this helps everyone to remain on the same page.
Once the sculpting was complete, we hard coat the foam sculpture with a plastic like material. This gives the usually fragile styrofoam a more sturdy surface, perfect for a photo booth prop which would be getting a lot of interaction. The newly coated props were painted white and finished off with some subtle blue highlights to look even more frozen! The end result looks like it came right out of a movie, a winter wonderland just waiting for an abominable snow man (or any snow man, really!).
